The most outstanding medieval castle founded
and built by Emperor Charles IV. between 1348 - 1355 A.D. as a depository
for the Empire´s coronation jewels and state documents. This huge gothic
castle is situated about 38 km southwest of Prague.After a guided tour

Thanks to the prosperous silver mines Kutná Hora became, after Prague,
the second most important town of the Bohemian kingdom in the Middle Ages.
The increasing wealth and prosperity led to an architectural boom in the
town and gave rise to many beautiful monuments - St. Barbara cathedral -
Italian Court with Royal Mint - The Stone House and other Gothic and
Renaissance landmarks. A uniquely amazing sight is the baroque ossuary in
nearby Sedlec, decorated with the bones of some 40,000 people. The
decorations even include human bone chandeliers. K.H. was declared a world
heritage site and has been protected by UNESCO since 1992.

Our half day tour shows you one of the most
important chateaux in Bohemia. We go to Konopiště, a lovely
hunting chateaux, once the home of the successor to the Austrian throne Ferdinand d'Este, whose assassination in sarajevo (Bosnia) in 1914 served
as a pretext to the start of World War I. It
was built in the 14th century, rebuilt in the 19th century, housing
fascinating collections of historical weapons, furniture, paintings and

A medieval town located in southern Bohemia that has
retained its medieval charm to this day. The mighty Renaissance castle -
once the seat of the powerful .Lords of the Rožmberks and the
Schwarzenbergs - houses rich collections of period furniture, Flemish
tapestries and historical weapons. After a guided tour in the castle we
will also visit its unique and exceptional baroque theatre. In the whole
world there are only two theatres of this kind - in Sweden at the royal
palace Drottningholm and at the ČK castle - that have been preserved with
such an untouched baroque originality and authenticity without any former
or modern alterations until today. After lunch we will take a walk in the
historical core of the city.

BOHEMIAN GLASS FACTORY

In the Czech Republic there are more than two hundred glassworks where
famous crystal glass has been produced over centuries. If you feel like
getting know more about glass and its production accept our invitation to
a prestigious Bohemian glass factory, where you can witness and admire the
craftsmanship of the skilled glassmakers. In the factory grounds there is
also a shop where you can buy glass for a reasonable price. Including

The former garrison town originally built by Emperor Joseph II. as an
ingenious system of the military fortresses for the protection of the
kingdom at the end of the 18th century, that was completely changed and
converted into the Jewish Ghetto and a concentration camp during the World
War II. Entrance

The largest and best known Czech spa located in western Bohemia -
gained its reputation thanks to the discovery of hot mineral springs the
history of which originates in the Middle Ages. The waters are used to
treat all kinds of disorders. Today there are 12 hot springs in use here,
and you get the chance to taste them. The best known spring is named
Vřídlo - the Sprudel which belches its curative water to a height of 17 m.
Karlovy Vary is also famous for local china and glass manufacturing. The
products of these industries are on display at a special exhibition and
are sold at specialised shops.

castle surrounded by a large English park. Its laveshly decorated
interriors, period furniture, weapons and unique Flemish tapestries
attract thousands of visitors every year. Our trip continues further to
Holašovice- a typical Czech village worldfamous for its unique rural
Baroque architecture and before coming back to Prague we also visit České
Budějovice, the former royal town founded already in the 13th century
where the famous beer Budweiser has been brewed over centuries. Lunch

Český šternberk Castle perching on cliffs in the romantic and wooded
valley above the Sázava river occupies a leading position among medieval
Gothic castles in our country. Its interiors, housing valuable art
collections, were adapted in the Late Gothic and Early Baroque style and
are richly decorated with stucco works. Nowadays the castle is in
possession of the counts of the Šternberks again. Entrance fee

Telč and Slavonice are Renaissance architectonic jewels amid beautiful
hilly countryside surrounded by lakes - Telč which was once a royal water
fort founded at the crossroads of major trade routes gained its
Renaissance appereance, that has been preserved almost intact up to the
present, after a devastating fire. After a guided tour around the
lavishly decorated chateau´s interiors with coffered ceilings you can
admire the large central square lined with gabled houses. Each of them has
a different facade adorned with frescoes sgraffito or later Baroque and
Rococo sculptures. SLAVONICE - the medieval merchant town located on
the former Salt Trade Rout. These two medieval towns haven´t been
